This week the Junior School took the opportunity to dress up and have some fun to celebrate Roald Dahl Day. He is such an inspirational author and his books provide us with so many interesting characters and themes that it was always going to be a colourful and creative day at school. But how fantastic everyone looked on screen during the assembly! It was unbelievable to see how many wonderful, inventive, fun outfits the staff, students and parents created.

Making the most of opportunities was a big theme during the day as well. The teachers and students took the opportunity to complete practical activities and have less screen time. Everyone has been working so hard, and so effectively, during the first weeks of remote learning that it was wonderful to have the chance to: be more creative, move away from the screen, have lots of fun and learn about one of the world’s greatest authors. Celebrating Roald Dahl Day in style: all part of the Dulwich Difference.
