Welcome to Dulwich College Yangon, a school steeped in history and innovation, anchored in the tradition of Dulwich excellence, within the beauty of Myanmar and international innovation of the Dulwich College International (DCI) family of schools.

Dulwich College Yangon inspires us in student friendly, purpose-built campuses through award winning facilities, architecture, large fields, tremendous sports and arts facilities, with ongoing growth across both of our Yangon campuses, in Pun Hlaing and Star City. At the heart of us is a commitment to helping every child achieve their potential through a personalised approach, developing academic excellence, holistic development and an international mindset.

For both staff and students, Dulwich College Yangon provides a unique way to make a bigger difference to personal growth and leading impact in our school and wider Yangon community. We are developing an exciting curriculum based on inquiry in the younger years and the international, holistic excellence through IGCSEs and IB Diploma Program in the senior school. Our academic programme runs in conjunction with a comprehensive co-curricular programme that provides a wealth of artistic, sporting, and cultural opportunities for our students to engage in – both in Yangon and across the Dulwich College International family of schools. Yangon is a beautiful, green city with rich history, warm welcoming people, yet it is also a young developing economy, providing our community with service opportunities like the Magic Bus, Victory House, Step-in Step up and much more. Staff and students are able to develop passion and compassion, subject prowess, academic research and leading community engagement.

Dulwich College Yangon provides a nurturing environment to grow professionally, with world class training through our unique DCI collaboration. The other Dulwich Schools provide an exciting context for our students to make good friends with students from other leading cities in China, Korea, Singapore, London and around the world. Dulwich College Yangon nurtures a dynamic student demographic in Yangon, including expats and local children, from over 40 nationalities, covering different international family profiles and systems of ‘guardianship’. We provide a unique nest in Myanmar and Asia to nurture all these needs. Whether through our unique boarding facilities or for day schooling, there is a unique place for children and staff at Dulwich College Yangon. With smaller class sizes, highly experienced and qualified staff, award winning facilities and large green spaces, we offer a unique environment for students and staff to flourish.

Enjoy seeing a glimpse of life here through the website, but most of all, I hope you get a chance to hear from our confident, curious, caring students. Please do not hesitate to contact us to learn more about our College.

Best Wishes,

Mr David Massiah

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Dulwich College Yangon, Pun Hlaing campus. We are proud of our heritage and our commitment to Myanmar at such an exciting time and very pleased to be members of the community in Yangon.

I hope that the website will give you an insight into the vibrant and exciting school we are developing here.

The school is the foremost British Curriculum international school in Yangon with a strong academic base and excellent facilities. We aspire to become the best international school in Myanmar and then to rank amongst the top international schools worldwide as part of the Dulwich College International family.

We are an ambitious school and my team and I firmly believe that there is no limit to the potential of our students. Through our academic programmes, focus on student safety and well-being and our wide-ranging and exciting co-curricular offer, Dulwich College Pun Hlaing puts students first and at the heart of everything we do.

Our exciting and engaging inquiry-led curriculum is based upon the latest version of the UK National Curriculum 2014. We use the highly regarded UK Early Years Foundation Stage strategy to ensure the youngest children develop their full potential and reference the full UK National Curriculum from Year 1. Our students are regularly assessed against the requirements of this rigorous academic programme to ensure that they are on track.

Alongside our academic program we have a well-developed co-curricular program of sports, science, music and art. Our school is renowned for its musical and dramatic productions, which are often the talk of the town! We insist on commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship.

We provide outstanding opportunities that develop every aspect of our students’ interest and ability. We aim to develop a lifelong love of learning and to encourage every child to discover and nurture their passions within a Global context. We ensure that they are fully prepared for the next stage of their education and ready to 'Graduate Worldwise'.

Having Early Years, Junior School and Senior School on the same campus has enabled us to develop an excellent transition program enabling students to make a seamless and highly successful move to high school and beyond. Our excellent links with top universities around the World and our highly qualified academic counsellors support Dulwich students and their families in planning the right next step.

Whilst we are proud of our rigorous British academic foundations, we are also proud to be based here in Myanmar with its wealth of culture and tradition. We take every opportunity to celebrate and acknowledge our location and the heritage of our many international families.

Our children say that they are proud of their school and that they love coming in every day. They are keen and willing learners, well behaved and focused on achieving great things here.

Our parents tell us that they enjoy the warm welcome they get at Dulwich College Yangon, Pun Hlaing campus, the positive and collaborative relationship they have with staff and the fact that the school has a real sense of community. They say it really feels as if they are part of ‘The Dulwich family’. We are very proud of this relationship as we know that together we can ensure a fantastic future for the children here.

This website can really only offer a glimpse of life here at Dulwich College Pun Hlaing, but we hope that it will be sufficient to encourage you to come and visit us.
