Graham Horton

Graham is originally from Buckinghamshire in the U.K. and graduated from Reading University in 1988 with a B. Ed. (Hons.) in Early Years education. He has spent the last 26 years teaching in and leading state primary schools, first in Northamptonshire and latterly in Gloucestershire. He has also worked as a Local Authority Lead Officer in School Improvement for Gloucestershire and have led several schools through successful OfSTED inspections. His last role in the U.K. was as Executive Headteacher of a federation of primary schools in the Cotswolds. He moved into international school leadership with Nord Anglia in 2014 in Doha, Qatar and subsequently, has also led schools in Abuja, Nigeria taking The Regent Primary School through its first BSO inspection, and Ningbo, China where he was International Principal at a large bi-lingual school for Chinese nationals. He is currently completing a Masters in International Education with the University of Leicester focussing on the importance of a values-led education for 21st century learners, and recently moved with his wife Sally, to Myanmar as incoming Head of Campus at Pun Hlaing in Yangon
