Kelly Davies

English Teacher and Year 7 Form Tutor, Pun Hlaing

Kelly Davies is joining the Dulwich community from Millfield School in Somerset. She worked at Millfield as an English Teacher, Assistant Houseparent  in a girls’ boarding house of sixty students, and was the Head of the Sixth Form Primary Liaison and Mentoring Programme. Her experience spans nearly twenty-one years where she has held various positions of responsibility such as Head of English and Drama, Senior Teacher and Whole School Literacy Specialist. She enjoys and specializes in setting-up IGCSE English and Drama courses and enjoys developing extra-curricular Drama too. Kelly holds a degree in English and Education from The University of Central Lancashire and her PGCE is from The Open University. Reading, visiting the theatre and taking part in NIA, something she hopes to train to teach whilst she is in Asia, are all enjoyed by Kelly in her free time. In Myanmar with her husband Andrew, who will also be doing some teaching at Pun Hlaing, the couple are looking forward to travelling across Asia and contributing positively to the life of the school here at Dulwich College.
