Year 3 Class Teacher and Key Stage 2 Coordinator
Paul Antcliffe joined Dulwich College Yangon from the U.K. He has been working in primary schools for the past fifteen years in various roles. He is qualified as an Advanced Skills Teacher with a specialism in primary education and assessment for learning. In addition, he worked for GlaxoSmithKline, BP and the Royal Geological Society as a primary science consultant.
His last role in the U.K. was as Headteacher of a Junior School in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire. Amongst other roles, he worked as Safeguarding, Assessment, English, Maths, Science, Computing, Project-based Learning and Collective Worship Leader as well as a mentor for newly-qualified-teachers. Additionally, he worked as a Key Stage 1 and 2 writing moderator for Calderdale Local Authority as well as the Science Network Leader for Southwark and Calderdale local authorities.
He holds the N.P.Q.S.L. qualification in Senior Leadership (sponsored by Southwark Diocese) and is currently studying for a qualification as an Assessment Lead Professional, also he will start the N.P.Q.H. qualification in Headship in March 2020.
He lives in Yangon with his wife - Avie, who also works at the school - and their two children, Neave (3 years old) and Raphael (1 year). Neave has already joined the school in the Toddlers class with Raphael to follow in future years.
